| Situated in the rue Saint Nicolas, one of the oldest roads in Le Puy-Notre-Dame, dating back to when the village was both a stopping off point on the pilgrimage to Compostella and also a shrine in its own right because of the belt of the virgin Mary which is held in the church. | |||||||||||
| The apartment is part of a very large stone built house which has been totally and lovingly restored by its current owner, Marcel, an artisan joiner. The workmanship is very impressive. It is very private with its own entrance, parking area and garage. | ||||||||||||
| Inside there are two double bedrooms (one with a double bed and the other with two single beds), a bathroom and separate toilet. The attractive reception area is of stone featuring the original beams and consists of a kitchen/dining area and just off, a salon with seating area and TV. (The fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher is behind the 'bar').

| Alongside the house is a large enclosed "park area" with many trees, ornamental pool with fish, waterfall feature, large above-ground wooden-decked swimming pool with sun terrace, and stunning open views over the local vineyards. | ||||||||||||
| The local bar/tabac, supermarket, pharmacie, and hairdressers are just a two minute stroll away. The artisan boulangerie about a five minute stroll away from the apartment, although the supermarket is also the village bread depot. The owner of Le Clos Charmeur, Marcel, speaks excellent English and, of course, guests are very welcome to contact us at Le Clos des Guyons for any help or advice and also to hire bikes should you want to. We will also involve you in our organized 'wine tasting visits' and any other activities we arrange.
