The NEW Wine Bar "LE PUY AU VIN" in the village opened its doors in November 2007. This is essentially a wine bar but is also offering light lunches. It has its own Wine Shop section selling a selection of local products. Great for a stop off after your cycle ride or vineyard walk perhaps. It is open during the week and on Sunday lunchtimes. This means we can now stop nagging the owner of the other bar to open on that day! |
The village is privileged to have been given the award of <'Petite Cité de Caractére>. This distinction is awarded to the little towns and villages in our region that have a remarkable architectural and natural Heritage and meets the essential criteria when it comes to welcoming their visitors. As a guarantee of quality this label urges the commune belonging to the network to keep on improving the emphasis placed on their attractions through restoration, promotion and activities. The Cités de Caractére of the Pays de la Loire present a whole range of historial authenticity and are the reflection of the geographical territory to which they belong to.
