For two persons sharing Double En-suite Room.
Now that we have finally finished our renovations we are able to do something which we have wanted to do for a long time, which is to have a Christmas house party here at Le Clos des Guyons We thought it would be great to model it on the country house parties so popular in Edwardian times including dressing for Christmas dinner and everyone eating together around our huge three metre dining table with apéritifs and after-dinner drinks being taken in the reception room in front of the huge stone open fire place.
We also envisage this room being used throughout your stay as a library or just a place to get together and share a coffee or glass or two.
Accommodation is in our two self-contained gites thus will come complete with en-suite bedrooms, lounge and kitchen. Both are heated and have games, books and Satellite TV. Our bikes are available free of charge.
The price of €420 is fully inclusive and includes extensive aperitifs on arrival, a six course gourmet lunch on Christmas day. Full English breakfast on Boxing day morning including Bucks Fizz and French breakfast on the other two mornings.

In the days before Christmas this part of the Loire has many concerts, markets etc. All the towns and villages are decorated and, in essence there is as much to do as you want to do. There will be little time during a three day break and there is certainly no compulsion to do anything but we will put together a suggested programme as soon as detailed information becomes available.This will be especially useful if you can arrive a day or two earlier. The price is for a 'Three-Night Stay' from Christmas Eve 24th December to the morning of the 27th December, and includes:- Aperitifs on arrival; Specially prepared Christmas Lunch with Wines; Three breakfasts consisting of two French Petit Dejeuners plus full 'English' and Bucks Fizz on Boxing Day morning.
Guest Options
To maintain maximum flexability for our guests rather than do a totally inclusive and fixed package the following options are available to our guests.
On the day of arrival you can eat here, (four courses) €25,00. We can reserve a table in the village restaurant where there are choices of an à La Carte Menu or 
Fixed Menus at €16,00 and €21,50. The aperitifs in the restaurant will be on us! Although we must point out that our Xmas Eve aperitifs are quite extensive and are normally more than enough to quell any hunger pangs. Alternatively you can use the self-catering facilities in the gîtes, A light lunch is available on Boxing Day for €14,00, (occasionally even a BBQ if the weather behaves itself). If time permits we are happy to do a free guided tour of one of the sixty plus wineries in and around Le Puy Notre Dame where you will have the opportunity to buy wine to take home.
To allow for other guests and within the limitations of our accommodation we envisage a maximum of 6 persons.
Extra nights are available both before and after the break at a reduced rate of €50,00 per double room.
